“まだ名前のない子” / “The Child Yet to Be Named”

私の制作は、モチーフが成立する以前の状態を画面に留める試みです。
人物、風景、動物、器官のように見えるものも、明確な対象として固定せず、何かになりかけた像として残します。
私の絵画は、名づけられる直前の像と、名づけられた瞬間に失われる気配のあいだにあります。

My work is an attempt to capture on canvas the state that precedes the formation of a motif. I depict figures, landscapes, animals, or things that resemble organs, not as clearly defined subjects, but as forms in the process of becoming something. My paintings exist in the space between the form just before it is named and the aura that is lost the moment it is named.
